Our patients come in for care but they stick around because they feel like part of our family.
We need a Front Desk Receptionist who is equal parts friendly face scheduling ninja and master multitasker. Youll be the first impression patients have of usso if youre the type who can greet someone like an old friend while juggling phones insurance and scheduling (without breaking a sweat) youll fit right in.
Greet patients with a smile that says Were glad youre here!
Keep the schedule organized so everyone gets seen on time
Answer phones and help patients with questions (patience required)
Verify insurance and help with billing tasks (dont worry well train you)
Keep records tidy accurate and HIPAA-compliant
Support communication between patients and providers
Pitch in wherever needed to keep the office running smoothly
Other tasks:
- Create financial worksheets
- Deliver financial reviews with patients
- Scan incoming insurance EOBs
- Assist with marketing campaigns creative content community outreach
- Weekly patient reporting
- Work with the rest of the team to keep the clinic clean and clutter-free
- Manage patient flow between Doctor Rehab and Front Desk to ensure Patient experience is efficient fun and effective
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining recording and updating personal and financial information
- Collect patient charges control credit extended to patients and file collect and expedite third-party claims
- A background in customer service medical office work or admin (bonus points if youve wrangled insurance before)
- Communication skills that make people feel heard and cared for
- The ability to stay cool and organized even when things get busy
- A team-player vibeyoure not above helping out wherever needed
- Reliabilitywe need someone we (and our patients) can count on
- $19-24/hour- discussion depending on experience
