Front Desk Night Auditor

Eilan Hotel and Spa in San Antonio TX is hiring a Front Desk Night Auditor. The Night Auditor serves as the resorts overnight guest service lead and endofday revenue auditor. This role ensures a safe welcoming lobby overnight resolves guest needs and completes all PMS closeofday procedures folio balancing and financial reconciliations before the morning shift. The ideal person blends warm hospitality with rocksolid attention to detail.

The Eilan Resort & Spa is a Hilton Grand Vacations property in Northwest San Antonio near The Rim and La Cantera featuring a Tuscaninspired design completed in 2011 and offering 165 guestrooms. It is a central element of the 120acre Eilan mixeduse development integrating lodging with offices residences retail dining and shared community amenities. The resort features a fullservice spa with 10 treatment rooms approximately 14000 square feet of flexible event space and multiple food and beverage outlets including the Social restaurant serving breakfast and dinner the Mercato coffee shop and a seasonal pool bar.

What will I be doing

• Run endofday (end of day) close in the Property Management System)post room tax packages and incidentals.
• Balance and reconcile credit card batches and house accounts; resolve rate/folio variances.
• Review and post noshows late checkouts and adjustments with proper authorization and documentation.
• Generate and distribute required management reports (e.g. Trial Balance Managers Report Revenue by Department Forecast vs. Actual).
• Audit OTA/3rdparty postings (rates/taxes/commissions) and note discrepancies for A/R followup.
• Greet late arrivals; checkin/checkout extend stays rekey rooms and handle earlydeparture requests.
• Answer phones route calls/messages log and resolve overnight requests and maintenance tickets.
• Prepare morning arrivals paperwork breakfast/amenity counts and VIP/earlyarrival notes for day shift.
• Supervise lobby and public areas for cleanliness safety and quiet enjoyment; implement property policies considerately.

What are we looking for

Required

• Solid understanding of a PMS (OPERA/OnQ/Cloudbeds/Similar) and basic pointofsale procedures.
• Demonstrates strong numeracy skills maintains accuracy in fast paced environments and is fully comfortable with overnight shift schedules.
• Clear calm communication; able to deescalate and make sound decisions independently.

Preferred

• Experience with credit card settlement and chargeback documentation.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (lookups pivots formatting reports).
• 1 year in hospitality front desk or accounting (or equivalent customerfacing role with cash handling).

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required; hospitality or accounting coursework a plus.
