Freelancer Recruiter

We are seeking a results-driven Freelance Recruiter to help scale our team by identifying sourcing and hiring top-tier talent. This is a fully remote flexible contract role. You will manage end-to-end talent acquisition with a strong focus on sourcing passive candidates within the New York market.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Talent Pipeline: Proactively search and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter job boards networking and direct outreach.
• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Screen resumes conduct initial interview screens and evaluate candidate fit regarding skills culture and salary expectations.
• Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner with team leads to define role requirements write compelling job descriptions and align on hiring timelines.
• Candidate Experience: Coordinate interview schedules gather feedback and ensure a seamless high-touch experience for all applicants from outreach to offer.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 years of agency or in-house recruiting experience (tech corporate or specialized roles preferred).
• Location & Availability: Remote but aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST) work hours to interview candidates and collaborate with New York-based leadership.
• Tools: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Greenhouse Lever or Ashby alongside LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of closing hard-to-fill positions.

Compensation & Terms

• Engagement: Freelance / 1099 Contract (Hourly rate retainer or per-placement commission basisopen to negotiation based on experience).
• Hours: Flexible project-based (approximately 1530 hours/week).
