Freelance Bengali Interpreter (Community Setting)

We are seeking a reliable and professional Bengali Interpreter for an active community-based assignment in and around the Egg Harbor Township New Jersey area. This is a freelance (independent contractor) opportunity ideal for individuals who are fluent in Bengali and English and enjoy supporting diverse communities.

• Provide accurate in-person Bengali interpretation for an active assignment in community settings such as social services or local appointments.

• Facilitate clear communication between Bengali-speaking clients and English-speaking providers.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics standards.

• Arrive on time and be prepared for scheduled assignments.

• Fluency in Bengali and English including spoken communication and comprehension.

• Prior interpretation experience preferred; community medical or social-services experience is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
