Job Summary

The Fractional Director of Marketing is a parttime exempt employee of Taylor Oswald who works approximately 22-30 hours per month and plays a critical role in advancing the organizations marketing strategy. This position partners closely with Taylor Oswalds external marketing firm providing strategic direction handson execution content development digital marketing oversight and coordination with Oswald Companies.

This role is designed for a highly efficient marketing leader capable of operating with independence prioritizing highimpact work and driving measurable results within a defined monthly hour structure.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead content creation including blogs newsletters LinkedIn posts and case studies.
  • Update the Taylor Oswald website and oversee digital analytics and light SEO.
  • Manage marketing operations including vendor coordination (designers photographers videographers and promo suppliers).
  • Work collaboratively with the external marketing firm to align efforts share assets and support integrated campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the Team or through system access to deploy client email communications.
  • Engage with Oswald shared services to leverage webinars newsletters and marketing assets.
  • Support execution of annual strategic initiatives including the special event campaigns direct mail blitzes award submissions regional campaigns and LinkedIn AI exploration.
  • Produce quarterly reporting on marketing efforts results and strategic recommendations.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What Youll Need

  • Demonstrated experience as a Marketing Director Marketing Manager or senior-level marketer.
  • Strong writing skills including thought leadership newsletters and campaign content.
  • Competence in digital marketing: website updates analytics and SEO.
  • Ability to manage vendors partners and cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong project management prioritization and ability to work independently.
  • Comfort navigating shared platforms (CRM SharePoint) and collaborating with internal/external teams.
  • Experience in B2B insurance financial services or professional services preferred.

Travel Expectations

Light Travel (010%)

  • Occasional local travel to events meetings or content capture as needed.
  • Majority of work may be performed remotely.

Physical and Environmental Demands

Physical Requirements: Primarily sedentary work involving computer use. Occasional standing walking or lifting up to 10 pounds.

Manual Dexterity & Vision: Sufficient for digital work document review and computer use.

Work Environment: Standard remote or office environment with typical noise and climate control.

Work Schedule & Hours

This is a parttime exempt position with a defined schedule of 22-30 hours per month.

  • Hours are flexible based on project needs and approvals.
  • Occasional deadlines or events may require work outside traditional business hours.
  • No overtime is paid for exempt roles.

Compensation

This parttime exempt role is compensated at up to $75/hour commensurate with experience aligned with the expected monthly hours and responsibilities.
