Job Summary
New York USA Hybrid Permanent
We are looking for a Founding Engineer to take co-founder-level ownership of the technical vision and help build an on-chain institutional FX hedging platform from the ground up.
Key Requirements
- Expert-level Rust MUST
- Strong experience in financial trading or core infrastructure
- Former Founder / CTO / Founding Engineer
- Experience building and shipping with AI agents / agentic orchestration
- Comfortable working in a highly ambitious early-stage startup environment
- Willing to relocate to NYC
- Experience with DevOps is a strong plus
Ideal Background
We are particularly interested in engineers with experience in:
- Derivatives margin & netting
- Trading infrastructure / HFT
- Clearing infrastructure
- DCO / DCM infrastructure
- Protocol security / smart contract security
- DeFi
- Kernel / Compiler / Operating Systems
- Physics engines
Strong Candidate Profiles
Examples include engineers who have worked on:
- Core financial infrastructure
- Trading systems and exchange infrastructure
- Derivatives and risk systems
- Clearing settlement and market infrastructure
- High-performance Rust systems
- Protocol security and infrastructure
Must-have: Expert-level Rust experience previous founder CTO or founding engineer experience.
