Founding Account Executive Selling into Financial Services/ Public Sector/ Government Washington DC Hybrid or Remote


We are partnered with a venture-backed AI company building sovereign intelligence infrastructure for the worlds most critical institutions- financial services professional services government and intelligence organizations. The platform delivers power without the legacy complexity enabling secure auditable on-premises AI workflows that keep full control of data and decisions inside the customers environment.


The Role

We are hiring their first dedicated Founding Account Executive to professionalize and scale their commercial motion. This is a hybrid AE/GTM builder role- you will generate pipeline from scratch run full-cycle enterprise sales deliver technical demos of the AI platform navigate complex procurement/security reviews and close sophisticated deals in high-stakes verticals. You will work hand-in-hand with the VP of Sales CEO and CTO to define repeatable GTM processes that the company will scale.



In this role you will:

  • Own end-to-end sales cycles: prospect qualify demo negotiate and close.
  • Build pipeline and account plans in Financial Services Professional Services and Government/Intelligence.
  • Lead technical and executive conversations (CTOs CISOs Chief Data Officers agency leadership).
  • Experiment with tools refine messaging and document what works for future scaling.
  • Represent the company as a thought leader on sovereign AI.



Experience needed:

  • 8 years of enterprise software sales with a proven track record of exceeding quota in complex deals.
  • Experience selling AI or deep technical products (highly preferred).
  • Domain knowledge in financial services consulting PE government or intelligence.
  • Strong technical fluency in AI/cloud/data/cybersecurity to hold architecture-level discussions.
  • Builder mindset comfortable in early-stage environments generating pipeline outbound and thriving without a playbook.
  • Exceptional executive presence communication and closing skills.



A note on location: Candidates must be based in the East Coast area to be considered for this role.
