Forward Deployed Solutions Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

Several fast-growing AI and fintech companies are building Forward Deployed Engineering teams to turn complex customer problems into deployed production-grade solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Embed with enterprise customers to understand workflows technical constraints and measurable business outcomes.
• Prototype build and deploy tailored solutions using the core product platform APIs and customer data.
• Own pilots and production rollouts end-to-end including scoping architecture implementation and adoption.
• Translate field learning into reusable product capabilities and clear feedback for engineering and product teams.
• Communicate credibly with engineers operators and senior customer stakeholders.
• Travel to customer sites when necessary to unblock deployment and accelerate value delivery.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong hands-on software engineering ability ideally in Python TypeScript or another production language.
• Experience delivering technical solutions directly with customers or internal business stakeholders.
• Excellent problem decomposition product judgment and comfort with ambiguous environments.
• Ability to build prototypes quickly and convert successful prototypes into maintainable systems.
• High ownership concise communication and willingness to be accountable for customer outcomes.
• Availability to work in San Francisco and travel periodically.

PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

• Prior FDE solutions engineering consulting engineering or technical implementation experience.
• Experience with AI agents LLM orchestration data pipelines or regulated industries.
• Founder early-stage employee or substantial 01 project experience.
