A Day in the Life:
Formulation Operations: Efficiently and safely operate assigned formulation equipment perform basic equipment maintenance and make necessary process adjustments to support production requirements.
Setup and Preparation: Participate in formulation line opening activities equipment setup and preparation of materials and components for batch processing.
Compliance: Adhere to all written procedures batch records SOPs and GMP requirements while promptly reporting discrepancies or deviations to the Area Supervisor.
Quality Control: Accurately document formulation activities and review personal work to ensure quality accuracy and regulatory compliance. Continuously monitor formulations and in-process materials for defects or inconsistencies.
Process Improvement: Recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance formulation efficiency consistency and overall production performance.
Training and Collaboration: Assist in training and developing team members while supporting a collaborative and safe working environment.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing operations production lab setting or related field
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Proficient in English (speaking reading writing) including technical and scientific language.
Basic math skills (addition subtraction multiplication division).
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 10 hours per shift.
Lifting Requirements: Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Mobility and Repetitive Motion: Ability to perform repetitive physical activities including pushing pulling lifting twisting bending grasping and crouching in support of formulation and production operations.
