Formulation Scientist

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Support research scientists with their experiments based on company protocol method and procedures
• Examine and perform analysis on peptides nucleic acids proteins and antibodies using general wet chemistry techniques and various instruments such as: HPLC Solo-VPE MFI AKTA DLS HI-AC Viscosity
• Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticles
• Support scientists with the formulation of biologics and nucleic acids and buffers as needed
• Follow GLP and good documentation using electronic lab notebook
• Help with organizing and cleaning of lab and work environment
• Follow documentation and safety practices
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations

Qualifications :

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in biology biochemistry chemistry or other related field with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience. Masters degree in biology biochemistry chemistry or other related field with < 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and interpret experimental results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with pipetting pH Uv-VIS and HPLC.
• Strong computer scientific and organizational skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information :

The position is full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Boston MA are encouraged to apply.
