Description for Forklift Operator:

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load unload and transport heavy metal materials through the facility.
• Maintain structured product inventory counts in the warehouse ensuring absolute organization and accessibility.
• Manage incoming freight profiles at the receiving bay cleanly according to manifest directions.
• Utilize calipers tape measures and micrometers to execute technical quality checks on metal dimensions.
• Follow all facility safety procedures execute vehicle inspection logs and wear required PPE daily.

Details for Forklift Operator:

• Pay Rate:$22.00 / hour.
• Schedule: Monday Friday 5:00 AM 3:00 PM (10-hour shifts with great overtime pay).
• Position Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Hire.

Requirements for Forklift Operator:

• Minimum of 1 years of verifiable experience safely operating forklifts within an active industrial setting.
• Prior background working in a steel distribution center manufacturing plant or heavy warehouse preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency reading measuring tools accurately down to fractions and decimals (micrometers/calipers).
• Basic computer literacy with the proven capability to navigate inventory tracking and ERP systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
• Exceptional history of daily attendance prompt punctuality and a safety-first work ethic.
