Description for Forklift Operator:
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load unload and transport heavy metal materials through the facility.
Maintain structured product inventory counts in the warehouse ensuring absolute organization and accessibility.
Manage incoming freight profiles at the receiving bay cleanly according to manifest directions.
Utilize calipers tape measures and micrometers to execute technical quality checks on metal dimensions.
Follow all facility safety procedures execute vehicle inspection logs and wear required PPE daily.
Details for Forklift Operator:
Pay Rate:$22.00 / hour.
Schedule: Monday Friday 5:00 AM 3:00 PM (10-hour shifts with great overtime pay).
Position Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Forklift Operator:
Minimum of 1 years of verifiable experience safely operating forklifts within an active industrial setting.
Prior background working in a steel distribution center manufacturing plant or heavy warehouse preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency reading measuring tools accurately down to fractions and decimals (micrometers/calipers).
Basic computer literacy with the proven capability to navigate inventory tracking and ERP systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent; physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
Exceptional history of daily attendance prompt punctuality and a safety-first work ethic.
