Forklift Operators will be responsible for operating electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts or clamps to push pull lift stack tier or move products equipment or materials to supply production lines with fresh frozen and dry raw materials. This role will require a working schedule on B crew 6pm to 6am.
Accountabilities:
Moves levers and presses pedals to drive trick and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Positions forks or other lifting device under over or around loaded pallets skids boxes products or materials and transports load todesignatedarea.
Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Recordsreceiving of materials using aVMUaccuraterecording of informationiscritical.
Weighs materials orproductand records weight on production issue sheets.
Unloads/transloadstrailers of supplies verifying count and condition.
OperatesVMU recordsreceipts and respondsto production demands.
Prepareswritesreadsand understandsreports and daily paperwork completed by forklift operators.
Strictly adheresto FIFO when issuing inventory to production lines.
Deliversandreceivesitems fromstoragefreezerarea.
Strictly adheres to all company and plant policies concerning safety performing proper Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures using proper lifting techniques wearing effectively all personal protective equipment (PPE) asrequired proper walking/stepping and all other safety procedure related to your duties.
Adheresto all company and plantpolicesrelated to GMPs andmaintainwarehousein accordance withcompany and AIB standards.
Adheresto all company and plant policies workrulesand procedures.
Regular and predictable attendance is essential for meeting performance expectations of this position.
Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Foreperson.
Work Envinorment:
The employee is occasionally exposedtotoxic or causticchemicals;outside weatherconditions; risk of electrical shock;andexplosives. The noise level in the work environmentrequires hearing protection.
Skills:
One to threemonths related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability tocomprehendand communicate inbasicEnglish and interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to read and interpretdocumentsuch asBills of Ladingsafety rulesoperatingand maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability towriteroutine reports and correspondence.

Compensation Package: $24.04 - $25.04 Starting at 24.04 USD hourly Bonus eligibility Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
