Job Summary
Pronto Staffing is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in the Decatur area. You will safely operate equipment to move store and organize materials in a fast-paced environment. This position offers steady hours with room for pay growth upon permanent hire.
Responsibilities
Drive a sit-down forklift safely to load unload and move materials
Receive check and store incoming shipments
Pick pack and prepare orders for shipping
Help with inventory counts and general warehouse work
Keep the work area clean neat and safe
Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience is required
Experience operating a sit-down forklift is required
Must have a valid forklift certification
Able to speak and understand English
Current CDL with Tanker Endorsement is a plus
Must be dependable with a strong work ethic
Work Environment
Indoor and outdoor work environment
Working in extreme heat during hot weather months
Schedule may temporarily shift to 6:00 AM-2:30 PM during extreme heat
Regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Recommended dress code includes steel-toe boots with jeans and a t-shirt
