Requirements:

• Inspect service and repair forklifts and farm equipment
• Disassemble overhaul repair and reassemble engines transmission differential clutch brake electrical system fuel system and any other part related to material handling or farm equipment
• Perform scheduled equipment service ranging from minor to major service
• Use all tools of the trade including precision instruments welding equipment shop machines overhead hoists and power tools in adjusting and repairs
• Complete accurately all required internal and customer driven paperwork including work orders safety inspections timesheets
• Ensure company equipment and tools comply with safety and cleanliness standards
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Own and maintain up to date tools of the trade
• Keeps work and supply areas clean and orderly and follows all safety rules and procedures
• Required to work overtime if needed

• Must have mechanical experience in one or more areas: automotive diesel and or forklift
• One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school; Five plus years forklift equipment experience or equivalent education and experience
• Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instruction
• Valid California drivers license/good driving record
