Forklift Driver Rough Terrain

A well-established lumberyard in Hillsboro is looking for an Experienced Forklift Operator / Load Builder to join their team. If you have experience operating a forklift in a lumberyard construction site or similar outdoor setting this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Hillsboro OR
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

This is NOT an entry-level forklift position. This job requires:

• Prior experience operating forklifts on rough uneven terrain

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions including rain and mud

• Experience moving loading and organizing lumber or building materials

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to transport lumber and building materials across a busy yard.

• Work in outdoor conditionsuneven ground mud and varying weather.

• Load and unload trucks with construction-grade lumber and supplies.

• Stage and organize orders for delivery and distribution.

• Maintain safety and productivity in all-weather conditions.

• Assist with general labor tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

What Were Looking For:

• Forklift experience REQUIREDmust have prior experience in a lumberyard construction or similar setting.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working outdoors on rough uneven ground in all weather conditions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Reliable punctual and a strong team player.

• Ability to bend reach and twist throughout the shift.

• Experience using basic hand tools is a plus.
