Ready to lead a crew work with heavy equipment and industrial piping and build large-scale systems across the East Coast Hiltz Propane Systems is looking for an experienced construction leader Propane experience NOT required. Bring your leadership mechanical aptitude and hands-on construction experience and well teach you the propane side of the business.

What Youll Do as a Foreman
- Lead a small installation crew and direct daily job-site activities to keep projects safe productive and on schedule.
- Oversee the installation of large commercial and industrial bulk propane systems ensuring all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Perform and oversee hands-on installation work involving piping layout cutting threading equipment operation and other construction activities. Welding experience is a plus but not required.
- Communicate safety expectations conduct job-site hazard assessments and promote a strong culture of safety.
- Monitor project progress maintain daily logs and provide regular updates to supervisors and project management teams.
- Coordinate crews subcontractors materials tools and heavy equipment to support efficient project execution.
- Solve job-site challenges and address safety or operational concerns in partnership with management.
- Collaborate with internal teams subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Our Ideal Foreman
- Experienced Leader: At least two years of crew leadership experience in industrial construction mechanical or commercial piping millwright work excavation or sitework utilities tank installation equipment installation commercial plumbing welding or fabrication or a similar hands-on field.
- Mechanically Skilled: Can read schematics and detailed site drawings has strong mechanical aptitude and is willing to work alongside the crew. Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
- Ready to Learn the Industry: Previous propane experience is not required. Basic propane knowledge or CETP training is a plus and we will provide the industry-specific training needed for the role.
- Hands-On & Accountable: Takes ownership of projects follows through on commitments and leads crews confidently while pitching in wherever needed.
- Safety-Focused: Prioritizes safe work practices follows procedures and promotes accountability on every job site.
- Comfortable with Travel: Enjoys working outdoors and traveling extensively to complete unique projects throughout the East Coast. Company-paid lodging a meal stipend and a company vehicle are provided for travel assignments.
- Quality-Minded: Demonstrates integrity attention to detail and a commitment to completing safe dependable work the right way.
