Job Summary
- Diagnose & Repair: Utilize factory tools technology and service bulletins to fix complex mechanical issues.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform high-precision oil changes brake inspections and tire rotations.
- Multi-Point Inspections: Provide clear honest recommendations to service advisors and customers .
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with evolving Ford vehicle technology.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician .
- Certifications: Ford Certification not required but preferred; Senior Master Technician status preferred.
- System Knowledge: Strong understanding of EcoBoost engines hybrid/electric drivetrains and advanced driver-assist systems.
- We also work on plenty of old school Fords so knowledge of those vehicles will be needed.
- Requirements: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

Ford of Elizabethton is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Elizabethton TN. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic and repair services on Ford vehicles ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle problems
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes tire rotations and brake inspections
- Use specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot Ford vehicles
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair options
- Maintain accurate repair records and reports
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Requirements- Prior experience as an automotive technician preferably with Ford vehicles
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- ASE Certification is a plus
