This role involves preparing and serving meals within the correctional facility ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met while maintaining a secure and efficient environment.

• Prepare cook and serve meals according to the dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Follow all correctional facility protocols and safety procedures to ensure the security of the workplace.
• Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Work cooperatively with facility staff and inmates to create a positive and professional work environment.

• Previous experience in food service preferred especially in correctional or institutional settings.
• Ability to work in a secure environment and follow facility rules and guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
• Must pass background checks and any required security clearances.
