Shift: Full-time; Hours vary; rotating weekends & holidays

This is a temp to hire position.

TheFood Service Workerprovides safetimely andaccuratepreparation assembly delivery and clean-up of meals and food items for patients residents and guests. The dishwasher is responsible for operating the dish machine and hand washing dishes if required. Responsible for all patient dishes production pots and pan and cafeteria dishes and pot and pans. Dispose of trash and recycling in the appropriate containers out by the dock. Assist in putting dishes away in the appropriate spots and cleaning the dish room which includes the floor pot and pan sink and the dish machine. This role supports quality care and customer satisfaction by following department procedures food safety and sanitation guidelines and customer service standards.

• Prepare assemble and deliver patient trays snacks and nourishments per diet specifications
• Serve patients guests and cafeteria customers with excellent customer service
• Followportioncontrol cash handling and regulatory standards (HIPAA OSHA TJC)
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment including cleaning and sanitizing dishes utensils equipment and carts
• Stock patient units retail areas and storage rooms and monitor food and equipment temperatures

Education:

• Currently enrolled in high school or equivalentrequired.
• Preferred:High School Diploma/GED

Experience:

• Food Handler Certification SERVSAFEupon hire
• IA/IL Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care required within90 daysof hire.
• IA/IL Adult Dependent Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing Care required within90 daysof hire.
• Basic Life Support American Heart Association *for PACE only
