Food Service Worker Flexible Hours

TES Staffing is seeking motivated Food Service Crew Members to join one of Rochesters largest organizations for the approaching 2026 fall semester starting in August.Whether youre looking to build hands-on kitchen experience or you already thrive in fast-paced food service environments this is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic dining team during a busy and exciting semester. Scheduling is extremely flexible!

• Pay Rate:$18.00/hr weekly payroll

• Schedulingis predominantly day to day/ on call with some set schedules offered as they become available. Hours of operation are 6a-12a so we accept a range of availabilities

• Bus friendly location

• Contract to hire opportunity full benefits offered if taken on permanently! This includes employer paid healthcare tuition reimbursement retirement savings plans etc.

What Youll Do:
No two days are the same! Youll be providing relief coverage and rotating through key areas of the kitchen including cooking dishwashing food prep and serving. Job expectations include:

• Prepping fresh ingredients and scratch cooking

• Serving and restocking meals for students

• Dish room support table clearing and light janitorial work

• Deep cleaning projects to keep everything spotless

• Following food safety protocols and keeping a clean workspace

• Providing friendly customer service and assisting students with dietary needs

What Were Looking For:

• 1 year of recent experience in food service dietary or related field

• 18 years or older

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs stand for 8hrs and bend.

• Reliable punctual and a team player

• Comfortable following instructions and working independently
