Food Service Worker

Multiple Shifts Available

Food and Nutrition Services goals are to provide a variety of nutritional safe attractive healthy food choices to patients visitors and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and portion food items including washing peeling cutting and measuring ingredients.

• Cook and fry foods according to recipes and safety standards ensuring proper temperature and quality.

• Serve patients staff and visitors courteously and efficiently while following dietary guidelines.

• Operate cash register and answer Food Service phones to assist customers and staff.

• Clean and sanitize work areas equipment utensils and floors according to infection control and safety procedures.

• Wash pots pans and dishes following hospital sanitation standards.

• Properly store and label food items using safe food handling and rotation practices.

• Safely transports food trays and supplies to and from kitchen and service areas.

• Follow all hospital safety dress code and infection control policies.

• Participate in required training safety drills and team meetings

Requirements:

• Food Handler Card or Servsafe Certificate (Preferred)
