Job Summary

Overview

The Dietetic Technician provides the Food Service department with the work required in the operation of the diet office. Functions as a Dining Service operator.

Most frequent scheduled hours:

10:30a-7:00p
11:30a-8:00p
11:45a 8:15p
3:30p-7:45p
4:00p 8:00p

Occasional schedule hours:

5:30a-2p
6:30a-3p

Qualifications

Certifications: ANSI Accredited Food Handler Training within 30 days

Responsibilities

Answers phones in accordance with customer service standards and directs calls to appropriate the patient/guest food orders in the Dining Service diet changes coming off the order entry posts and calculates calorie counts. Charts calorie counts on -out the food-to-floor orders. Posts the costs into the computer physician lunch the nourishment cardex updated. Orders nourishments through dining the monthly diet office the kitchen informed of the patient census and the Rehab Unit in training new diet patient/guest traysgrievance trays and assists on traylineas needed.

Salary Range

The compensation range for this position is $16.52per hour - $26.76per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidates experience qualifications location training licenses shifts worked and compensation model.
