Food Service Associate

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-3:00PM every other weekend & rotating holidays

Join our dedicated Food and Nutrition Services team! We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to play a vital role in our patient care this position you will do much more than deliver meals; you will serve as a key liaison between our kitchen and patient care units directly contributing to the health recovery and comfort of our patients.

• Prepare assemble and deliver patient trays snacks and nourishments per diet specifications
• Serve patients guests and cafeteria customers with excellent customer service
• Followportioncontrol cash handling and regulatory standards (HIPAA OSHA TJC)
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment including cleaning and sanitizing dishes utensils equipment and carts
• Stock patient units retail areas and storage rooms and monitor food and equipment temperatures

Experience:

• Previous food service experience preferred
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions
• Must speak read and understand English

Certification:

• Must obtain Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire.
