Food Safety Coordinator Full Time HourlyStarting rate $25 to $30 depending on qualifications and experiencePosition Description:Working closely with the Quality Control Specialist and Director this entry-level position will provide guidance to Team Members regarding safe food handling practices cleaning and sanitizing work areas and preparing fresh and wholesome day-to-day:Conduct health inspections and implement food safety training programsWork with Federal State Local and Store In-House health inspections in the documentation and follow up with the respective store/departmentsConduct warehouse audits to ensure the quality and freshness of our productsPerform other job-related duties as assignedKnowledgeable of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Qualifications: Serv-safe Certified or equivalent certificationStrong computer skillsEffective communication skills both written and oralMultilingual skills especially English and Spanish preferredWillingness to learn and maintain an open mindsetFood production experience is a plusAbility to work effectively in a diverse team environment as well as independentlyHigh School diploma or equivalentStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-taskWhat you bring to the team: Able to stay calm in pressure situationsAble to meet time-sensitive deadlinesCan troubleshoot various situationsIs fair but firmMaintain confidentialityLead by exampleHighly detail-orientedStrong work ethic and dependableWorking Conditions:Work schedule is normally M-F 7:30 am 4 pm OR 8 am 4:30 pm however may include evenings weekends and/or holidays as neededThe position requires frequent walking standing lifting pulling and pushing with a range of 50-75 poundsAble to work in various temperatures due to highly perishable food itemsWillingness and ability to travel to various worksites within the tri-state area as needed
