Job Summary
Orchard Valley Golf Course located in Aurora IL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Food Runner! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Assures that all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation
- Maintains knowledge of the position of each diners chair in the dining rooms and lounges
- Sets the service line with underliner plates flatware doilies linen napkins and any other items needed for food delivery
- Organizes plates in the window and matches each item with the corresponding ticket for delivery to tables
- Sets tables in accordance with Troon standards
- Ensures that each menu item meets the specifications outlined on each ticket
- Communicates with the chef to correct any items that do not meet specifications before delivery
- Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings
- Clears dishes from guests tables upon completion of each course
- Clears and resets tables when guests leave including but not limited to changing tablecloths brushing chairs repositioning chairs and replacing silverware glassware and napkins
- Assists servers as needed
- Keeps workstations stocked with necessary items and ingredients
- Cleans workstations removes trash and vacuums the dining room
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Performs other duties as required
- One month of related experience or training
- Demonstrates professionalism cleanliness and attention to detail
- Regular and reliable attendance including weekends and holidays
