Flexible Day Labor / On-Call Production Support (Day Shift)

Shift:Typically 5:00 AM 5:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiringFood Production Associatesto provide flexible production support for a local food manufacturing facility.

This is a great opportunity for individuals looking forflexible scheduling extra income seasonal work or a way to earn additional hours with strong overtime opportunities. Employees can provide their availability and work the days that fit their schedule while helping support production needs including covering call-offs and busy production days.

The facility operates24/7 and candidates must be comfortable working12-hour shiftswith daily overtime opportunities. We are looking for reliable team members who are availablea minimum of 2 days per week. Let us know what days you are available!

Pay & Overtime:

• $17.00/hour

• Daily overtime paid after 10 hours worked

• The final 1.5 hours of the scheduled 12-hour shift are paid at the daily overtime rate

• Great opportunity to increase weekly earnings through overtime hours

Responsibilities may include:

• Loading ingredients into production equipment to keep lines running

• Packaging finished food products into boxes

• Palletizing and preparing products for shipment

• Stacking boxes and maintaining a clean and organized production area

• Assisting with general production tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to work a 12-hour shift while standing for the duration of the shift

• Comfortable working overtime and occasional weekend shifts

• Available to work a minimum of 2 days per week with flexibility on days worked

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Previous food production manufacturing warehouse or labor experience preferred (3 months preferred)

Language Requirement:

• Ability to understand and follow workplace safety instructions is required

• Basic English communication skills are acceptable as long as the employee can understand safety procedures production expectations and instructions provided by supervisors
