FOOD PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

Pay: $17.25 - $18.40 per hour

Job Overview

Looking to start work right away We are hiring dependable individuals to join a fast-paced food production team. This is a great entry-level opportunityno experience required! We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

This is a temporary position with the potential for long-term employment based on performance and business needs. Team members will assist with preparing packaging and processing food products in a clean team-oriented environment.

Job Duties

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

* Preparing packaging and processing food products

* Monitoring production processes and food safety standards

* Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment

* Verifying correct packaging materials and containers

* Checking product dates labels and weights for accuracy

* Inspecting products and packaging to ensure quality standards are met

* Removing defective products from the production line

* Assembling containers and packaging on the production line

* Transporting pallets within the facility

* Wrapping and loading pallets for shipment

* Assisting in other production areas as needed

Requirements

* Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 25F to 110F

* Ability to perform repetitive hand wrist and finger movements

* Ability to lift bend kneel and carry items weighing 20 lbs.

* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

* Forklift experience is a plus but not required

* Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

* Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

* Strong communication skills

* Reliable transportation required (location is not accessible by public transit)
