Pay Rate/Range: $15/hr

Description: Responsible for assisting in the preparation serving and cleanup of meals for senior center participants. Ensures meals are prepared following nutritional guidelines health and safety standards. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas helps with inventory and provides friendly respectful service to older adults. Will assist with meal delivery and maintaining a clean environment.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in food service hospitality or a similar setting is a plus. Knowledge of basic food preparation sanitation and safety procedures. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standardized recipes. Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Friendly and respectful demeanor when interacting with senior citizens. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid drivers license may be required for meal delivery positions. Must pass a background check and drug screen. Flexibility to work occasional weekends or holidays as needed.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
