Job Summary:
The Food and Beverage (F&B) Organization comprises over 300 restaurants that shareacommitment to bringing excellence to mountain dining as part of the overall ski experience. We believe that F&B leaders should possess a strong working knowledge of the front and back of house supported by best-in-class central programs training and support. As such our in-resort Manager-level F&B leadersare responsible for the entire restaurant operation includingfront and back of Manageris responsible for executional excellence in both guest and employee experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Sets the example for all other staff for service standards menu knowledge wine and beverage education and overall service excellence.
- Works on the floor in the restaurant exceeding guest satisfaction as well as completing management reports pertaining to revenue accounting tip disbursements and recording scheduling ordering products and equipment payroll inventory and maintaining daily logbook.
- Understand completely and implement all policies procedures standards specifications guidelines and training programs for Mountain Dining.
- Order and maintain inventory control of products including but not limited to: alcohol beer wine liquor paper goods operating needs etc.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Achieve company objectives in sales service quality appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive productive working environment.
- Review staff performance and behavior to provide feedback and direction including employment and termination recommendations consistent with Company guidelines for review.
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations including the kitchen if that is where the need is. Flex into line-level roles as needed in order to operate all needs within the location.
- Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of the restaurant and professional development including but not limited to training of all staff members as they onboard and/or at the start of the season. Retrain as needed to ensure staff is up to company policy standards.
- Prepare all required paperwork including forms reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection timely work-order submissions and by following the restaurants preventative maintenance programs.
- Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
- Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
- Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies rules and procedures.
- Fully understand and follow all federal state county and municipal regulations that pertain to health safety and labor requirements of the restaurant employees and guests.
- Assist in other operations as needed to support department needs

Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant experience with at least 1 year at a managerial or lead level
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Leadership problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
- TIPS certification required within 30 days of employment
- Serve Safe Food Protection Manager certification required within 30 days of employment
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
The expected pay range is$57784.00 - $70631.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
