  • Purpose

    Performs essential base-level tasks & functions related to service fulfillment disinfection & sanitation in patient facing ancillary or back-office areas Provides service support & colleague or customer support in accordance with level of experience education regulatory agency standards & established policies & procedures. Conducts daily functions in a compassionate ethical & respectful manner. Supports patients families & guests in exceeding their expectations. Demonstrates the ability to deliver personalized care & service unique to the patients & families expectations / needs.

    Maintains a Working Knowledge of applicable federal state & local laws / regulations Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of Conduct as well as other policies procedures & guidelines in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest ethical & professional behavior & safe work practices.

    Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression)

    • Assembles and delivers trays following basic portion/menu guidelines

    • Performs simple prep (portioning packaging)

    • Communicates basic needs to team members and leaders

    • Rotates and replenishes floor stock food supplies and kitchen inventory to maintain par levels and reduce waste

    • Cleans dishes utensils equipment and work areas; ensures sanitation compliance and reports maintenance or safety issues.

    • Operates basic kitchen tools cleans and maintains equipment according to safety protocols

    • Follows food safety and hygiene guidelines monitors and records food and equipment temperatures to meet regulatory standards

    • Operates point-of-sale systems handles cash transactions accurately

    Minimum Qualifications

    Serve Safe Certification or within 6mo. of hire. Food Handlers Certification in line with state requirements or within 6 mo. of hire.

    Additional Qualifications (nice to have)

    High School Diploma or GED. 0-1 year of customer service
