Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Folder Gluer Operator to join our 2nd shift production team (Monday Thursday 2pm12pm). The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up operating and maintaining folder-gluer machines to produce high-quality folded and glued cartons according to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate folder-gluer machines for carton production
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper folding gluing and alignment
- Inspect finished products for quality accuracy and defects
- Monitor production speeds and maintain efficiency standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Complete production reports and documentation accurately
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience operating folder-gluer equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read production specifications
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work overtime or other shifts as needed
Preferred Experience
- Experience with folder-gluer machines
- Knowledge of carton manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with quality control standards
