FMB Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst providing support to PRMD/FMB is also responsible for but not limited to:

• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and data analysis.
  • Extract and validate financial data from government systems including Ektropy SharePoint List 365 and GFEBS.
  • Analyze data to identify discrepancies trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide accurate inputs for dashboard teams to generate relational view outputs (Excel PDF PowerPoint

• Support audit readiness activities including documentation validation and remediation of findings.
  • Maintain Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) for audit purposes.
  • Resolve unmatched transactions and validate unliquidated obligations (ULOs).
  • Prepare responses to audit findings and implement corrective actions.

• Provide recommendations for interface improvements and collaborate with dashboard teams.
  • Collaborate with dashboard teams to assist in formatting outputs and ensuring alignment with government standards.
  • Present recommendations for interface improvements to the Deputy and Chief FMB as required

• Assist in broader financial reporting tasks including budget tracking expenditure analysis and compliance reviews.
  • Contribute to budget tracking expenditure analysis and compliance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain a Quality Control (QC) program to ensure data reliability.
• Defense Health Agency (DHA) Ektropy application experience a plus.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years with BS/BA; or 9 years with a HS diploma.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
• Must be a U.S citizen
• Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Tableau PowerBI etc.) databases (SQL etc.)
• Understanding of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel SPSS SAS etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Six (6) years of progressive experience in this discipline.
• Have or obtain favorable Tier 1 investigation.
• Prior DoD experience; Defense Health Agency or Military Health System experience a plus.
