Flow Coordinator (MA)

Lifekind Health is looking for a full-time Flow Coordinatorin our Rancho Mirage clinic to care for a medically complex patient population that requires compassion empathy and the ability to deescalate and appropriately react in individual and group settings.

Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday; Sat & Sun 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Mon-Wed 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

About the position:

• Prepare patient charts prior to medical and behavioral encounters
• Collect and document vital signs
• Administer urine drug screen and record results assistmedical provider with UDS interpretation and process UDSconfirmationas necessary
• Document injection consents andassistwith injections
• Provide customer support to patients in the clinic including scheduling appointment confirmation and provider sequencing
• Document medical and behavioral encounters in health record management systems
• Administer and process consent forms and other patient questionnaires
• Assistmedical and behavioral provider in writing and transferring orders
• Transfer imaging from partner portals into health record management systems
• Obtain andassistmedical provider in reviewing the Controlled Substance Utilization Review and Evaluation System (CURES) report
• Process referrals as orderedtoother external providers and community health resources
• Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked. Notify supervisor when supplies are needed
• Comply withfederal state and local legal and professional requirements
• Data entry and administrative duties as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required
• 2 years of related experience
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
