Responsibilities
- Perform and supervise all floorcare operations ensuring work meets ABM quality standards.
- Diagnose floor conditions and determine the correct restoration process for polished concrete sealed concrete waxed floors and all carpet types.
- Execute and oversee strip & wax scrub & recoat burnishing carpet extraction bonneting and other advanced restoration methods.
- Select and mix chemicals correctly for each floor type; maintain strong knowledge of restoration chemicals.
- Operate and maintain floorcare equipment such as autoscrubbers burnishers swing machines and extractors.
- Perform routine GMPaligned cleaning to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections of floor surfaces and correct issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of cleaning activities chemicals and equipment checks.
- Support and guide a small team providing coaching and directing nightly workflow.
- Adhere to all site safety and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of direct floorcare experience including handson restoration and diagnosis of floor conditions.
- Extensive knowledge of floorcare chemicals restoration processes equipment operation and corrective methods for a wide range of surfaces.
- Experience in a workingsupervisor role strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and lead small teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift/move equipment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions:
The position requires standing walking and bending for extended periods.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment noise.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
