Job Title: Floor Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic excellent attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and organization. As a Floor Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that all floors within our facilities are clean sanitary and well-maintained.


Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 5:00pm - 9:00pm


Responsibilities:

  • Sweep mop vacuum and scrub floors on a regular basis.
  • Strip seal wax and buff floors as needed.
  • Clean and maintain floor surfaces including tile carpet hardwood and laminate.
  • Remove stains and spills promptly.
  • Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment such as floor buffers scrubbers and carpet cleaners.
  • Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals.
  • Inspect floors for damage and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed including restrooms common areas and outdoor spaces.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Floor Technician or in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques equipment and chemicals.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects such as furniture and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
