Overview

Shift: 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM every other weekend and holiday

Were looking for a Floor Technician who takes pride in creating clean safe and welcoming this role youll operate specialized floor care equipment restore and maintain floor surfaces throughout our facility respond to cleaning needs and support a healthy environment for patients visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Operate floor maintenance equipment and perform cleaning stripping waxing buffing and refinishing of hard and carpeted surfaces
  • Clean and prepare patient rooms move furniture and equipment andmaintaincleaning tools and records
  • Transport waste safely and support hospital cleaning standards and quality audits
  • Participate in emergency response and fire drills report facility repair needs andassistwith miscellaneous EVS tasks
  • Complete annual training on floor care equipmentuse and safety compliance

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent degree

Experience:

  • Two years of carpet cleaning floorrefinishingand general housekeepingpreferred.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • None
