Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is a not-for-profit Member-owned and locally operated financial institution serving the financial needs of its communities of Membership. This position will float between all the Knoxville Area Market branches

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assume responsibility for the effective and professional performance of member service functions.

Guide and manage the branch including scheduling adequate staff to ensure efficient branch operation conducting performance reviews coaching employees and providing additional training as needed.

Maintain a highly motivated well-trained staff maintaining effective employee relations.

Evaluate the job performance of the branch staff to ensure quality and quantity of work and service to the members.

Perform branch functions such as teller transactions opening new accounts completing loan applications processing and approving loans on a consistent and regular basis.

Monitor branch activity including transactions volume errors loan volume sales and new accounts.

Present and explain Credit Union services and products to members and assist in meeting their financial needs.

Answer questions and solve problems for members by listening to problems collecting data securing answers and reporting results to the inquiring party.

Keep members informed of Credit Union services and policies including types of available accounts interest and dividend rates payroll deduction options and other related services.

Maintain and project the Credit Unions professional reputation. Maintain privacy of member account information.

Keep supervisor informed of area activities and of any significant problems or concerns.

Complete required reports and records accurately and promptly.

Attend meetings as required.

Demonstrate dependability and a commitment to quality and flexibility to ensure branch needs and Credit Union goals are attained. Hold each employee accountable for contributing to the overall goals of the branch.

Maintain good working relationships and coordination with area personnel and with Credit Union management. Provide assistance to other branch/department staff as needed.

Work at other branches when needed.

Implement and monitor the budget for the branch.

Ensure that staff receives on-going training on security and robbery procedures.

Maintain involvement in local community events.

Create and maintain a cross-selling environment within the branch.

Establish and maintain goals objectives benchmarks accountability standards and rewards.

Research and solve staff and member questions and/or problems.

Follow all Credit Union policies procedures and regulations.

Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance behavior and performance).

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Work cooperatively with others.

All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid drivers license required. Knowledge or experience in teller new accounts lending and Credit Union operations and procedures required.
