Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) – Overland Park, KS

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across multiple inpatient units. • Deliver direct patient care across multiple assigned units

• Assess monitor and evaluate patient conditions while identifying changes that require intervention

• Administer medications treatments and therapies according to physician orders

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans medications and recovery expectations

• Ensure compliance with clinical policies procedures and patient safety standards

• Adapt quickly to varying unit workflows patient populations and care needs

• Support continuity of care and contribute to positive patient outcomes

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or ability to obtain

• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred

• Experience caring for medical-surgical telemetry orthopedic rehabilitation or similar patient populations preferred

• Strong clinical assessment organizational and critical-thinking skills
