Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Coordinates the scheduling of patients requiring admission diagnostic procedures or classes. Sequences multipletests/procedures as needed. Gathers all required patient demographic clinical and financial information. Coordinates appointments and classes with the appropriate clinical and clerical staff.

• Coordinates physician scheduling with the on-call schedulers

• Follows protocols for day of prep instructions emergencies and rescheduling.

• Communicates with physician office representatives in a professional and efficient manner.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor manager director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent or post-high school diploma / highest degree earned

• Experience - Three (3) yearsrelated work experience

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with medical terminology

• Proficient in use of telephone equipment voicemail and Windows

• Medical office multi-physician practice or in-patient medical unit experience- Preferred
