FLIGHT DECK Transformation Team (Manufacturing Track)

Program Summary:

• The manufacturing track places participants on our most critical shop and manufacturing SQDC challenges working with operational and FLIGHT DECK Leaders (FDLs) to activate and accelerate the FLIGHT DECK Fundamentals and Behaviors in factories and test operations
• These experiences will deepen participant capabilities against the FLIGHT DECK Enterprise Capability Model in FLIGHT DECK Leadership People Leadership Strategy & Results

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Manufacturing Supply Chain or related field
• At least 5 years working experience in a Manufacturing Supply Chain and/or Lean environment

Desired Characteristics:

• Approximately510 years of total working experience
• Experience owningSQDC outcomesin a manufacturing space
• Demonstrated use ofmultiple FLIGHT DECK/lean fundamentalsin manufacturing with direct customer impact
• Evidence of leadingcrossfunctional teamsto solve problems and run improvements
• Alignment withGE Aerospace Behaviors Respect for People Continuous Improvement Customer Driven including comfort at genba willingness to iterate through experimentation openness to feedback and connects work to customer impact.
• Willing and able to spend significant time at genba
• Geographic mobility while on program and at time of graduation per business needs
• Willingness to travel up to 25% per year while on program to support business needs
