JOB SUMMARY
Provides advanced project management event planning and program administration support for Lodging Product Services (LPS) with primary focus on Brand Global Design and Operations initiatives. Supports the coordination and execution of large-scale meetings conferences leadership events and strategic projects partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to manage timelines deliverables communications logistics and project outcomes. Maintains project plans tracking tools and reporting mechanisms to ensure events and initiatives are delivered efficiently and aligned with business objectives. Serves as a key liaison across teams proactively identifying risks resolving complex issues and driving execution of multiple concurrent projects and events. Works with a high degree of independence to deliver seamless experiences and successful business outcomes that support organizational priorities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience as a program specialist or related professional area.
OR
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major; 2 years experience as a program specialist or related professional area.
Preferred
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities deadlines and competing demands simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and decision-making.
- Adaptability and flexibility to support evolving business priorities special projects and changing operational requirements.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Support the planning coordination and execution of large-scale projects meetings and conferences ensuring seamless delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage project plans timelines deliverables and stakeholder communications to support successful execution of Lodging Product & Services initiatives (primarily Brand Global Design and Operations).
- Coordinate end-to-end event logistics including venue management scheduling communications registration materials development vendor coordination and attendee engagement.
- Supports event and project budgets contracts invoices and related documentation ensuring fiscal accountability and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor project milestones dependencies risks and action items proactively escalating issues and implementing solutions to maintain momentum and achieve desired outcomes.
- Serve as a central point of coordination across multiple project teams facilitating collaboration communication and decision-making among stakeholders.
- Prepare executive presentations meeting materials project updates and post-event reports to communicate progress outcomes and recommendations to leadership.
- Analyze project and event performance data stakeholder feedback and program metrics to identify trends measure effectiveness and recommend process improvements.
