Flex Security Officer (QC SO)

The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services smart home automation burglar and fire alarms access control security cameras alarm monitoring investigative services and background checks.

Per Mar Security is seeking flex security officer based out of Decatur IL. Officer will be paid a flat rate of $22.00 per hour regardless of site worked. This position is on an as-needed basis. There is no guarantee of a set amount of hours per week. Hours will be based on operational necessity.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older - required for dispensaries.
• Must have a valid drivers license with MVR that falls within company driving history policy.
• Submit to a pre-employment background check motor vehicle check and drug screen.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to different accounts outside Decatur.
• Have availability and willingness to work a variety of shifts and days. Currently there are no overnight accounts. Shifts can start as early as 5:45 am and as late as 11:00 pm.
• IL PERC card is preferred but not required.

Job duties:

• This officer will primarily assist with site coverage for call-offs vacations and temporary vacancies in central Illinois. Current cities with work sites include Springfield Champaign and Bloomington/Normal.
