• Must be available to work days evenings nights weekends and holidays as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Observe any irregularities involving security at specified work site.
• Document and report security violations.
• Stand guard at specified work site.
• Surveille premises as needed.
• Contribute and assist with any needs related to security matters at specified work site.
• Conduct hourly patrols of the property.
• Respond to incidents alarms suspicious activity disturbances and emergencies as needed.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports (IRs) as required.
• Communicate with supervisors/dispatch and follow post orders at all times.
• Cover open shifts call-offs vacations and special assignments.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
• Enforce client policies and company procedures.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Valid Louisiana Armed Security Guard License (or ability to obtain one before employment).(replace Valid Armed Guard license)
• Minimum 1 year of armed security experience.
• Firearm Proficiency Certificate required.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to supply own equipment to be used at post.
• Must be available for flexible hours.
• Must be available to work days evenings nights weekends and holidays as needed.
• Clean background.
• Must pass a drug screening.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to use a cell phone for scanning check points and reporting.
• Must be able to speak/read/write English clearly for reports and communications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Military or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
• Provide DD-214 (if military) or POST A/B certificate (if former law enforcement) if applicable.
