Hours:7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Status: Full-Time

AFI is a fast growing vehicle upfitter in Kansas City seeking upfit techs in the public safety sector. Position Overview:

Install emergency equipment into vehicles used for public safety use. This will include but not limited to lights sirens radars cameras partitions consoles to include all wiring. Represent AFI professionally by providing unmatched quality and customer service.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Read and follow install instructions and wiring schematics
• Assemble/Build equipment that will be installed into the vehicle
• Install equipment into/onto vehicle according to manufacturer specifications
• Review work orders and follow directions accordingly
• Willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ensure finished vehicle is road safe
• Maintain a neat orderly and safe work are
• Must have valid Drivers license
