Job Summary
PURPOSEPlans directs and controls operations of fleet operations at multiple facilities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssesses fitness of the fleet and recommends changes as repair and maintenance of fleet at designated that DOT regulations and policies are communicated and adhered to by employees at each files auditing for completeness and accuracy of file drivers inspection reports and and reviews hours worked at each or coordinates training of and enforces administrative fleet policies and causes of accidents and takes steps to insure that they will not complaints from shippers and passengers regarding improper or discourteous company facilities and equipment throughout duties may be RESPONSIBILITIESCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;Six months to one year related experience and/or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
