Job Description: Stipend Coach ï½ Flagline/ Color Guard

  Qualifications:Application Procedures:
  • Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online Band Safety course
  • Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online Concussion in Sports ï½ What You Need to Know course
  • Current Certification in CPR or Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online CPR and AED training course
  • Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online Heat Illness Prevention course
  • An Arizona Teaching Certificate Arizona Coaching CertificateOR content area related degree
  • Knowledge of essential skills techniques rules and safety concerns for the Performing Arts Activity to be coached
  • Skill in communicating with all stakeholders
  • In depth knowledge necessary to adhere to rules set out by ABODA ( and Peoria Unified School District #11 and to advise staff as needed of rules
  • Attendance of mandatory school district meetings and aligned trainings

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must be able to pass a background clearance check.
• Registration at National Federation of State High School Associations ( ) for training
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona drivers licenseas driving students to and from competitions may be required.
• May be required to work outside normal working hours
• May be required to travel to perform work functions
• Must establish a sense of comradery among our students through teambuilding fundraising service projects etc.
