FITNESS SPECIALIST AT LIFEWORKS OF SOUTHWEST GENERAL

POSITION SUMMARY:
Fitness Specialists provide professional customer service to members by conducting screenings fitness assessments exercise prescriptions and more while proactively circulating the fitness floor. Keeping a clean safe environment is also a priority of the Fitness Instructors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Bachelors degree program for exercise physiology or related field required.

Required length of experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of experience at a fitness facility required.
A competent knowledge of exercise principles fitness testing health risk and fitness program design is essential to success.
Excellent communication interpersonal computer and organizational skills are also required.

Required licensure certification and/or registry:
CPR certification required.
Personal training certification with one of the following agencies is required and may be obtained within 6 months of hire: ACE NSCA NATA NASM AFAA ISSA IFPA NCSF NFPT ACSM
