Firestop Installer

• Installs caulking at Penetrations and Joints using a bulk caulk gun pulling product out of buckets using sausage packs or standard tubes.
• Inspect their work to ensure installation was done per UL Design.
• Ability to read blue prints/life safety drawings.
• Access to Penetrations and Joints may require use of boom lifts scissor lifts swing stage scaffolds and ladders.
• Duties of this job will require employee to sit stand walk use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl; as well asclimb or balance and talk or hear.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Past firestop experience preferred
• Must have form of dependable transportation; must be able to travel out of town both on overnight and one day trips
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
• Fall Protection. Forklift Boom Lift Scissor Lift certification preferred
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
