Fire Sprinkler Technicians, Inspectors, & Fitters

A national employee-owned fire and life safety organization is immediately hiring several licensed NICET I Fire Sprinkler Inspectors Fire Sprinklers and VA-licensed Sprinkler Fitters to cover the Richmond and Ashland VA and surrounding areas.

Sprinkler Fitters will primarily install with some inspections and service of a variety of water and air-based fire sprinkler and control systems valves pipelines fire pumps and related equipment in retro and new construction commercial and industrial settings.

Fire Sprinkler Inspectors and Sprinkler Technicians will inspect test install and service a variety of water and air-based fire suppression and controls systems valves pipelines fire pumps and related equipment in commercial healthcare and industrial settings.

FIRE SPRINKLER TECHNICIAN JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• NICET I or higher (water-based inspections) license required
• VA and NC State Backflow Certification
• At least four (4) years experience install service and maintenance experience with a variety of fire sprinkler systems
• Knowledgeable of NFPA and local fire codes
• Valid drivers license with a clean MVR
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks (i.e. Criminal Driving Drug)

FIRE SPRINKLER INSPECTOR JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• NICET I or higher (water-based inspections) license required
• VA State Backflow Certification
• At least four (4) years experience install service and maintenance experience with a variety of fire sprinkler systems
• Knowledgeable of NFPA 10 NFPA 17-17A and plumbing codes
• Open to covering North Carolina border
• Experienced managing projects a strong asset
• OSHA Certifications an asset
• Valid drivers license with a clean MVR
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks (i.e. Criminal Driving Drug)

SPRINKLER FITTER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid VA Sprinkler Fitter license
• At least three (3) years fire sprinkler fitter experience
• Valid drivers license with a clean MVR
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks (i.e. Criminal Driving Drug)

SHIFT: Days 7:00am 3:00pm (Monday Friday). Rotating on-call. OT after 40 hours.

COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:

• Fire Sprinkler Techs: $30.00 - $40.00/hour
• Fire Sprinkler Inspectors: $28.00 - $36.00/hour
• Sprinkler Fitters: $24.00 - $28.00/hour
