Fire Sprinkler Fitter (GFPSFAVA)

We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join a growing fire protection company. This role is responsible for installing inspecting testing maintaining and repairing fire sprinkler systems in commercial industrial and residential buildings in the Ashland VA area

Install modify and repair fire sprinkler systems
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Measure cut thread groove and assemble pipe
Perform inspections testing and troubleshooting
Coordinate with contractors and other trades on job sites
Ensure work is completed in compliance with NFPA standards and local codes
Complete required documentation and reports
Participate in on-call service when needed

Sprinkler fitter experience or apprenticeship completion
Knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 preferred
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
Experience using pipefitting tools and equipment
